Four easy steps to a balanced metabolism, a stable weight and increased energy levels

metabolic balance® comprises four phases, where phase four represents your nutritional basis for the future.

To begin with your physical measurements are assessed and taken, a detailed questionnaire on your current state of health is filled out and problems you might be experiencing are discussed. A blood sample is then taken, which gets analysed and processed in the metabolic balance® headquarters, determining your current metabolic rate status. On the grounds of that an individualised plan is established, which will be your future ‘roadmap’ of nutrition.

Phase 1: Preparation Phase

The Preparation Phase could also be named Detox Phase as it enables your body to do just that. A bowl cleansing is of the essence: light food, easily digestible vegetables and fruit for two days, allowing your body to prepare for its ‘re-programming’, your new start.

Phase 2: Strict Phase

Depending on the initial outset status of your body, this phase is minimally 2 weeks long. Your metabolism and digestive tract receive a new set of instructions, are being ‘re-programmed’. The nutritional directives given are to be strictly adhered to, but no need to worry: your plan will supply you with ample choice and a certain amount of flexibility. All foods are chosen as to minimize any allergenic potential preventing aggravation of any form. The plan specifically targets your body’s deficiencies, rebalances your body and you will learn to listen to your inner voice again.

The habitual look in the mirror or the hello from the scale in the morning will show you very quickly, that you are on the right path: lymphatic obstructions in your face, neck and extremities disappear. Your sleep will be rejuvenating instead of restless, and your afternoon sleep is unnecessary. Most participants are so motivated by these quick but substantial changes alone, that the required discipline does not interfere. Patients on medical therapy (i.e. diabetics, hypertonic patients) are advised to have regular check ups as to ascertain necessary doses and re-adjustment of medication quantities.

Phase 3: Relaxed Phase

You continue with the given plan but are allowed to experiment. Singular meals may be substituted by something new or different. Surprisingly enough, a lot of patients resort to their previous favourite meal and find, that it doesn’t taste quite as good as it used to or doesn’t agree with them at all. You have started to listen to your body again. All metabolic balance® patients rediscover a more refined taste sensation; your old palate is back. If you have started buying new clothes already – stop – it gets better! Phase 4: Sustaining Phase

This phase is more or less the rest of your life, your healthy future. The ground rules have been set; the foundation for your sustained weight is laid. No yo-yo effect. Not only your biochemistry is reprogrammed but also your psychological relationship with your body and food. Your body tells you what it needs and you interpret it correctly.
